Woo! Great win by the ladies! Revenge tour continues!
That 3Q refereeing got me really mad too. Completely unbalanced. The most bias announcers in the history of the world. Glad we won.
Not sure what game you're watching, but we don't win without DestinyHer decision making is absolutely awful. Up two, when they need to foul, why would you make an interior pass?
let's get another 5:30 pm start time victory.................Kendal Bostic does a great job as a color announcer....these tight games has her so uptight and nervous............lol.............
This gets our women into the tournament right???Gutsy performance by the Illini. You can really see the pieces for a big season next year. But it's even better to see them win now. Nice win!
No one can stop her in the open court. Not sure what game you're watching, but we don't win without Destiny
They are fighting for a 9 seed.. We really want a 10 seed, but we will be an 8/9This gets our women into the tournament right???
Whew! Fun game!!
On to the next one. I can still recall Serge's 1999 Illini team winning three in a row in Year 2 of the "new" Big Ten Tournament. We had three really strong games in a row before tiring significantly in the Championship against MSU.
Same with the ladies. I think we can probably play one more really good game. But getting those last two "W's" would be really tough. 3-1 in the BTT would be a great stepping stone into the Big Dance.
When I saw that Christy Winters-Scott was doing this game, I was actually shocked. Her son (Jordan Scott) is a starter on the Michigan State mens BKB team. How can she NOT be biased calling a Spartan game? C'mon, Big Ten Network ... did you really think this one through? The most bias announcers in the history of the world. Glad we won.
1999: Yes. Seeded last, but on the verge of the big program turnaround. One big difference, that team had no chance of making the NCAA tournament. The women are in.
IIRC, were the men seeded last?
Jasmine has been playing very well of late. She had a terrific game at Iowa. I watched her encourage her teammates in huddles and keep them loose with her smiles and little dance moves. She is a calming influence. So great to have Maddie and Jasmine as upperclassmen who have experienced post season play.I don’t watch a ton of the ladies, but this is by far the best I’ve seen Brown-Hagger play.
We are projected a 7 seed1999: Yes. Seeded last, but on the verge of the big program turnaround.
I simply don't think any team can win 5 in a row on 5 consecutive days against the talent these ladies are facing. (The good news is that we don't have to win 5 in a row. Additional wins will just work towards improving our NCAA Tournament seed.)
I need to go study Bracketology again. I sure don't want the #8 or #9 seed!
They got my attention last nightSuddenly this thread has traffic. Lol
