Alright, I have to be honest, I haven't actually watched Iowa St. play this year so maybe I'm just not getting it because there's an eye-test element I'm missing, but just based on stats I'm not getting the love for Joshua Jefferson. The stats aren't eye-popping, and he basically feasted on lesser competition. Here are his stats in Big 12 play:

The rebound and assist numbers are still very good, but a lot of turnovers and really inefficient scoring. eFG% of .436 is not only not good, it's bad. The lowest eFG% in our entire rotation is Boswell with .523. AJ Redd's eFG% is .450 and Brandon Lee's is .412. That's right folks, Joshua Johnson, 1st Team AA according to both Sporting News and Jay Bilas, has been in the AJ Redd/Brandon Lee ballpark of scoring efficiency in Big 12 play.
