The season is long and full of ups and downs for most teams.

I had Purdue completely dead this season. Round of 32 at best. Even if Mich comes back, Purdue might be back on track.

They look like the preseason Final four team everyone had predicted. And even more impressive is their 4th game in 4 days...And Michigan??? Since their blow-out of us, they look like a different team..Could the injury of L.J. Cason be that instrumental??

Like I said, the Freaky Friday switch between Purdue and us is taking place right in front of our eyes. If Underwood doesn't get to the Sweet 16 at least, some tough conversations will need to be had about either roster construction or if he's still got the fire to coach, because sitting on his hands talking to his son only and not ever calling a dam* timeout sure doesn't look like he's still got that fire.

To think, a week ago, Purue and Illinois were in the same place. Can't play D, offense out of synch, something just not right with the team.

Can we please have what they are having?

I think so. May has no confidence in the defensive abilities of his non-Cason guards. That is why he had Lendeborg guarding Smith. Morez also seems to fade at the end of the year. It happened two years ago when he was outplayed by some stiff who went to Rutgers last year (Sommerville, now sitting on the bench at Washington) . It happened at Illinois last year.
