I had KU and they didn't deserve to win
Yeah I meant Vanderbilt and for some reason typed Auburn, who they also lost to but back in January. I even referenced that Vandy loss a couple days ago on here when talking avout how Florida was not invulnerable. Brain fart.Vanderbilt, not Auburn:

They did lose to Auburn as well, but that was in Jan and not by 17pts:

Yeah complete brain fart, knew Vandy, was thinking of Vandy, typed Auburn.*Vandy not Auburn, but still, a 17 pt loss doesn't happen unless you're vulnerable somewhere. Go BIG.
Yeah I think that fouling strategy could have worked if they had executed it betterYou’ve got 4 fouls to give, length of the floor to go and you foul so quickly the first two times that only 2.5 seconds go off the clock…and you lose at the buzzer. Don’t tell me that $elf is a great Xs and Os coach.
When they played Nebraska last day of the reg season. When’s the last time you’ve rooted for Iowa?
No question. Had they trapped and fouled every 3 seconds it would have worked. The quick first two fouls burned no clock.Yeah I think that fouling strategy could have worked if they had executed it better

Actually I thought it was a fine strategy from that area of the court. It is very hard to inbound under your own basket. It was the other fouls that came a bit too soon once they approached midcourt. No question. Had they trapped and fouled every 3 seconds it would have worked. The quick first two fouls burned no clock.
He obviously didn't want them to. You could see him explaining it to them repeatedly on the sideline. Thats not on him. He coached it correctly, his players didnt execute. You’ve got 4 fouls to give, length of the floor to go and you foul so quickly the first two times that only 2.5 seconds go off the clock…and you lose at the buzzer. Quite a take. Whistle blew and the Florida player dragged him down. The punch by Iowa’s guy hit the ball.Condon from Florida pulls at the ball. while the ball is in play The Iowa guy takes a clear swing at Condon. The refs' decision? Double tech. Wow. Golden's rage is absolutely justifiable. The refs had a chance to discuss that one as a unit, and that's what you came up with? No penalty for the Iowa chud who took that swing. But a penalty to the Florida guy for a perfectly legal basketball play. Ridiculous.
All good! If Auburn beat Florida last week they may have made the tourney, good thing they didnt! Let's hope they lose to Seattle in the NIT tonight!Yeah I meant Vanderbilt and for some reason typed Auburn, who they also lost to but back in January. The bigger problem was letting the guy dribble all the way to the cup in three seconds. I get that you can't foul but you still have to play defense!Actually I thought it was a fine strategy from that area of the court. It is very hard to inbound under your own basket.
