3/22-3/25 Games Thread

So it looks like Houston and us are the two strongest teams in the South region right now. If we can get past Houston, our path to the Final Four looks very promising.

Eh, Nebraska beat us earlier this season, and Iowa played us well. Plus, Illinois is still the underdog against Houston. I just can’t get worked up about this yet. Tough games ahead no matter who we play.

All Florida needed to do was drive to the basket and get a shot off. Refs would have called a foul on Iowa in a minute. Not enough time to pass the ball off.

Iowa was getting absolutely hosed on calls they down the stretch.

Florida pulled out the Illinois vs UCLA defense on the last play for Iowa.

If TTU beats Alabama, Illinois will have beaten 1/3 of the sweet sixteen field (Tennessee, Iowa, Nebraska, Purdue, TTU).

Yes but 5 of them lost in the first round and 1 in the 2nd round.

This tournament, Nebraska has a clearer path to the F4 than we do.

At this point, no matter.who wins the UCLA-UCONN and Alabama-Texas Tech games, we will have played 8 games against the other 15 sweet 16 teams. 9 after the Houston game.

i count 9 games against 8 teams

we are 4-5 or 5-4 in those games (depending who wins between tech and alabama)

I'll never be happy for an Iowa win(my family raised me right), but I AM happy a low-seeded B10 team beat the SEC's "best" team! Also, we HAVE to win against Houston now because our path to the Final Four has become way more giftwrapped for us if we do!
