Big factor that I felt could be the difference! our D was the factor that was ignored by many, where we could slow the Houston offense to a low performance. We did that… we won based on a defensive performance that held them down!
Awesome night… huge win. If we want to win 3 more games 12-21 from the FT line is not gonna cut it.

Man, our D was amazing, but the other thing is that we have so many different ways to score on you. If Iowa isn't shooting lights out, I think we win big. And even if they are, I still think we should win given our rebounding and ball security and not fouling. Holy smokes I'm anxious already.

All the credit to Drej. After a rollercoaster season, he's been absolutely locked in this tournament. This is the guy we thought we were getting in the summer. This is the guy who gives us that extra dimension. If we need a bucket, he's been there to get downhill and make something happen. And that fadeaway followed by the three on the next possession tonight was nasty. For us to finally get that Natty, we need three more games just like these from him.
