If I just saw these stats I’d think we were down 12-15

Your losing to a F'ing middle of the road F'ing squakeye team with the Final 4 on the line, I don't know what to tell you. I don't care how hot Iowa is, blah blah blah we should be crushing them

We played bad, they played good.
Time to show up boys or you'll regret it for the rest of your lives
I can only believe Brad is screaming this point right now. This is it, guys! Clearly Iowa threw us off a bit, but we fought back and we are right in this. But we need to kick it into gear right now, or the dream ends in one of the most painful ways you can draw up.

Let’s win it, boys!

Interesting that the traveling call came from the ref who couldn't see the play. It really is amazing how much Wagler gets hacked every possession without fouls getting called.

Iowa's strategy is to play overly physical and force refs to blow whistle (which they aren't).

Iowa- 8 fouls
Illinois- 3 fouls

That was a very friendly whistle that half

One thing I don't get is they are hedging and doubling the ball but we can't get open catch and shoot 3's?

Pound the paint, but the drive and kick should be open. Like aggressive Drej and want some Tomi post touches

Illinois’ offense looks as bad as the Thursday’s first half. Looks like the last few games of the season. The defense looks the same as it did before Houston.

Were we a one game ansmoly?

Iowa’s offense is beautiful. People doing stuff. Not just dribble and useless screens over and over.

They also have legit shooters, not like our “elite” shooters.

We need a real pg who can initiate the offense. Wagler is better off-ball.

We are getting out coached. Adjustments have to be madei n second half. Defense has to make them do something they don’t want to do like get the ball out of Stirtz hands areas of just standing and getting dictated.
