I would have been royally annoyed to lose to Iowa in that position. If it has been Florida, it wouldn't have bothered me as much.

Now that we are passed that, I refuse to feel bad about losing to either Duke or UCoon.

HOWEVER...

This team is totally capable of beating either of them, and anyone else who might meet them on April 6th.

My 41st birthday is on Saturday. The last time the Illini played on my birthday, was against North Carolina in 2005. I'd like them to even up to 1-1 on my birthday in my lifetime.

I think UConn would be easier. I know Hurley has a couple titles, and has handled us the last two games but I like Illinois in that game. Just think IL is better.

Duke would really come down to Wagler vs Cam Boozer. What a great matchup that would be

I do think comparing it to 2005, that both Duke/UConn will be harder than Louisville was

I. Evans for Duke would be a nightmare matchup for us. Dude is a baller. But, at this point for me it doesn't matter who we face. Happy to be there! What an opportunity either way!

For our next opponent....just glad it won't be Michigan🤮. Purdue, Arizona, UConn, Duke, Michigan, Tennessee...if we win this thing we will have earned it.
