texas, but i agree. a couple bad calls against purdue down the stretch masked some horrific calls against texas throughout the game.

Who are we rooting for tomorrow? I'm assuming UConn. Obviously would rather play Tennessee in a potential championship game, but that involves hoping they pull it off on Arizona and there's an appeal to Michigan and Arizona beating each other up too?

Arizona has been that good all year long. I believe they are better than Michigan...no question in my mind. I had Arizona and Houston in my Natl Title game. Now that Illinois dispatched them, I think it's fairly wide open as UCONN isn't some juggernaut this year and Duke has been playing in close games throughout the tournament. Illinois has a legit shot at the national title game but beyond that, I'm not sure they would beat Arizona or Michigan

Screw it, bring on Duke, they are owed retribution for last year.

I do not want to see us play Duke in a FF game. Good Lord the Duke whistle would start in the layup line. The NCAA, the Refs, the media and all the talking heads love them some Dook. Wagler would get beat to death, but every time an Illini player even breathed on Boozer the whistles could be heard in Key West. No thanks. UConn almost as bad but I'd take my chances.

ESPN radio this morning talked about how the Illini and Arizona have used a global approach to building a Final Four team. Made the point it isn't like all of the Euro players are playing at one school in their country, that it has taken a smart, hard-working effort to build the pipeline. Blending the Euro players with homegrown players like Wagler, Boswell, Davis, Stojakovic (he is a hybrid Euro who grew up in California) and, yes, Humrichous, is a tutorial on how to navigate the new college basketball landscape.

Agree. In addition to all their 5 star recruits, the officials are always on their side.

UConn would be tough also - Hurley is an amazing coach. But I'll still rather face them.

Go Tn. We beat UConn then play Tn for the final. A lady called the post game show last night and said she couldn't watch the game. Didn't have cable. Now today's game is on CBS. Why weren't we on CBS?
