Well, its not at MSG and we have changed a lot on D and since Keatons now running things. I think we should be. I would love an all B10 final or Arizona.

Mullins is an Indiana local so I think there'll be a draw there.
I didn't care at all who won between Duke-UConn. Even though we lost very early in the season to UConn, I haven't seen anything from either of those two teams that made me think we don't have a great chance to win and go to the National Championship game. We were a much different, less mature, less cohesive team when we lost to UConn, and at that time, I thought we lost the game; I wasn't convinced UConn actually won the game. We are hitting the second and potentially much higher peak this season that I was confident we would see. To top it off, we have a pretty good track record against teams who just overcame a 19-point deficit. I am really looking forward to our Fighting Illini putting Dan Hurley in his place, which is not at the top.
How the hell are we the favorite? I'm surprised.

Yeah I'm confused by that, too. Wanted to beat Duke and thought we are much more skilled offensively than them, plus I think we can match their size on defense.
Doesn't matter now, just have to beat the team in front of you. Karaban and Mullens won't go 1/5 and 1/6 again tho.
We are not at all the same team we were when we played UCONN at MSG. Wagler and Mirk have grown up fast. Even then, we got great shots and only hit 30%. In fairness, Reed was not at full strength then either. Should be a great battle.
We're favored because all the metrics say we should be favored.
For Saturday? Or all sessions?

We're cutting our family road trip to DC short and heading straight to Indy to be in the building. 4 tickets cost way more than our trip, but my now wife and I couldn't make it to STL in 2005 when we were juniors. Now our kids get to share it with us.

I would say we've shed our skin at least twice since that game, once offensively (handing the keys more to Keaton and Mirk) and more recently defensively.
Reed will be a load inside, but if we get up and shoot a decent or better % on our 3s, I like our chances...Illini by 4.

Man UConn is fortunate to survive such an ugly shooting night. They have some warts offensively, but Ball/Damary/Karaban will surely play better. Bring the same defensive energy and I like our chances
