ND isnt very good, needs talent,has opportunity, power conference and DGL is from Indiana. I am not a ND fan at all but could be a decent fit for DGL.
It will be very interesting to see what happens in the portal in a couple weeks. If we land Coleman and or PGs currently on the bench depart or even if they dont we will need some depth and experience. Whether its Cox or a longer PG we havent heard of yet.

I want that dude, believe it is Jalen Cox. Has the speed we lacked. Plus he is unselfish, a lower volume 3 point shooter. Likes the midrange game that we don't love, MSU might like a player like this.
He would be a great fit for us.

A bad P5 will spend up for him or a good P5 will add him to be a bench scorer. If he’s smart he would go to a place like High Point where he can get paid and be a key starter on a good team
Lucas Murrillo is pretty damn good. He is going to play for team World in the Nike Hoop Summit. Same game that had the Boozers, AJ, Mirk, Sarr and other power 5 starters that are still playing!
I was refering to DGL. He is a gunner, shoot first player. I was also thinking about BUs preference for length and size. I am fine with Jalen Cox from colgate. I saw him in person and would bring skill off the bench. I trust which ever way BU chooses to go

Starting PG on a team with National Championship aspirations? I say we will want a stud PG and Morillo as backup.
Well, you never know.
We didn't get a "stud point guard" last year. We got a "Keaton Wagler" instead.
That seems to be working out well so far.

Pretty amazing that Illini are losing 3 really good players in KW, Boswell and Ben H...yet still have a great collection of guys available to return along with 3 talented hs recruits. Pre portal and NIL my enthusiasm for next year would be through the roof. Now it's mind-boggling how things could change.
It's going to be interesting, fun, and frustrating as our coaching staff and accounting department make choices on retention and acquisition.
Now let's win a National Championship and then hold on for what could be a wild ride buckaroos.
