I realize this is an entirely new game with the transfer portal. However, I'm thinking that Andrej Stojakovic stays put at Illinois. I'm just not seeing 4 teams in 4 years but like I said, it's a new game and a lot of the old thinking and accepted ways are in the rearview mirror.

THIS IS NOT me saying Zvonimir isn't coming back. I just hate when media guys do this. It's his personal decision and many factors go into it.

The guy straight up asks him "you're not done, right?" in the midst of a normal conversation. And then clipboards his 12 second response onto twitter.

Say for instance a guy IS entertaining the idea of leaving... what else do you think he's going to say? It's just silly.

I'm old enough to remember Tre White saying he wanted to run it back before entering the portal a few days later

He's SO impactful. We're incredibly lucky to have him frankly, I doubt there's a human being on earth other than his twin brother he would be content being a complementary piece for, and honestly I was surprised at times this year that the minutes didn't flow more his way.

Double Ivisic lineups didn't really work this year, but stay in the lab thinking about it.

Hard to argue with the guy who thinks he’s the smartest guy in the room though.

It is once again time to launch the Unofficial Loyalty Portal Tracker as I've done the last few seasons.

As with previous years, I will attempt to keep the list updated with names that get posted here by those with some inside info (as well as links from outside) of names that are linked with us or that we should be paying attention to. Names in orange are those that seem to be higher priority or higher interest targets. Names in dark blue we will have some interest or links in but may not be a top or priority target for us. Light blue names will be if a tweet has linked us with a portal recruit but it has not been corroborated by our ITKs.

I'll also continue to work with @Indy Illini Fan (as much as he chooses/is able to share) on an internal Crystal Ball. Indy's Crystal Ball has come in at about an 85% accuracy rate over the past few seasons by the time the player commits.

I'm only including names of people that are officially in the portal (using 247's Portal List as my reference). Some names may get discussed or brought up here that don't show up yet.

I have another tab with the classic Scholarship Grid format so we have an idea of roster construction. I have assumed Keaton is gone in addition to our 3 seniors so far, but won't make any other changes until we get the official word of a departure.

If someone has information to correct anything, I'm appreciative of the corrections. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to DM or reply.

I'll try and post occasionally throughout the week with the updated link to the sheet, and the link will also live in my signature. Happy portal season! ILL

President Trump probably knows it won't hold up in court, it's possible it may just be an attempt to get congress to do something that will. IMO players should be allowed one free transfer, plus a penalty free one if a coach is fired or changes schools. After that they should be required to sit a season.

I think they should be allowed to transfer as much as they want whenever they want. Other students and coaches have those freedoms. These are often high paying jobs now and much like coaches or most positions for that matter. If you get a job offer that excites and or can signigicantly increase your pay then you should be able to.leave.
