Is small donor fundraising is impactful in college sports - like it is in politics - or is it just whale dependent? I give $500 to Icon and can’t tell if that’s useful or if it’s going to bus fare for a discus thrower. I mean - I love the discus and all - but should I even bother?
It all goes into the same pool of funds. Having $10,000,000 dollars for NIL spending is great, but having $10,000,500 is objectively better. Doesn't matter where it comes from.

That's not to guarantee every single person is coming back, but we have a good shot to retain a lot of the guys. Don't ride that roller coaster.

How likely is it that Skky even gets a medical redshirt? I’m assuming it’d be for the 22-23 season(?) but he played 13 games. Is it just an NCAA crapshoot?
NCAA's track record leads one to believe it's anyone's guess. I tend to think it's unlikely, but...The kid might as well give it a shot.

Nasir Rankin was offered scholarship... I completely forgot about Fagbemi
I forgot about Rankin. Looking forward to seeing him after football season next year.

Is Ty ok? Like has he recovered to his 100% self? With his lack of shooting, any reduction in his physicality and athleticism hurts him more than most.
Great person, but I don’t how he helps us take the final step to winning a title. Where would he have made us more competitive against UConn, Duke, Arizona, Michigan, etc.? I’d imagine he uses a small but not negligible amount of the NIL budget, also.

25,000 give 500 is 12.5mil I'm sure some smart grad assistant can figure out how to dump that into a 6 month interest bearing account... We are the slush fund school...ILL

This ^ Our offense will be running through Mirk a lot more next year, so we don't need a traditional PG to initiate the offense every time down the court. Blackwell, Andrej, Coleman, Morillo can all handle it well enough to get it up the court if that is the concern, plus Mirk can always bring it up like he did this year with another PF guarding him.

I'm very excited to see what new offense Tyler draws up to take advantage of our skill set next year!
I would be more excited if we had someone other than a BU offspring drawing.

And correct me if I'm wrong but the scholarships don't matter anymore, it's just a roster limit of 15, against which Rankin will count.

I'd forgotten about Rankin as well. Donovan McNabb playing basketball at Syracuse energy.

At 100% he would have been our best defender. But teams would just put their best shot blocker on him and camp the lane on offense, which is why he was unplayable against UConn in the E8, and would likely be unplayable against a team like Michigan this year.

Everyone wrinkling their nose at Skyy Clark needs to take a step back.

Stick him next to Blackwell/Stoj with QC and Morillo with Mirk and the Twins and we are essentially running it back with a better 3pt shooter on ball.

Edit: should clarify better shooter than Bam on ball
Dude is a grinder too. Has a tooth knocked out and still continued to play in the game.

If he wants to come back, I would be quite happy for him to earn his new role.

I mean, kind of. No one on that roster is better than Keaton. His ability to breakdown defenders multiple ways is differential than what we've ever had.

Yes, Hence the word “essentially” vs maybe “literally”.
And we have no idea how QC or Morillo impacts yet, just as we had no idea about Wagler this time last year.

I don't want any part of Skyy Clark, but if Brad does, I'll try to have a shorter memory.
