I have a feeling Andrej is gonna surprise us with his 3 point shooting next year. He knows it his key to getting in the league. I’m predicting 35%. Put that in his repertoire and he will be 1st team all big ten
Two improvements I would like to see in the off-season. Dre three point shooting and Tomi’s post game. Assuming they are both back I also picture more of Tomi and Z playing together. Minutes to be filled with Ben gone and Z athletic enough to guard the four. Add Mirk, Dre, and Coleman and that is a scary lineup. Now you are only finding role players to fit and with Jake, Ty, Morillo, Lee, Bilic, Jake, etc there are already available possibilities. Ty is a limited Domask role by taking a smaller guard to the paint or beating a larger man to the rim.

Lol … It’s crazy how many people read this board and just post it as their own …

Sometimes I just want to post something crazy inaccurate just to see how many people bite …
Do it. It’s awesome to see who the fools are.

Misko and Cronin … Two peas in a pod …
Why does this make me worry about Mirk?

I feel like we have had some information on JD, Tomi, and Z, but relatively radio silence in terms of Mirk. Is Mirk leaving us? A week or so ago, I would have laughed at myself for even entertaining that question. Now, with not much being said, I am starting to worry about our sweet prince.

Stojakovic wants to make the jump to the NBA. Illinois is combing the portal for potential replacements at the 3.

The money is tricky for Illinois. Not sure they can match what they gave Andrej this year.

Not a done deal.
So we are losing Stoj and looking to replace him at the 3? (Sandfort?) Any more information about the money you said was coming in? Is it at much as we thought? Is it putting us up there with the top of the NCAA?

That sounds like a Kofi move. Not sure he even gets drafted. ESPN’s big board today had him as the #72 overall prospect.

Could make the $$ at Illinois.

Respectfully Andrej would be stupid to go

if we could get Sandfort to replace him all is good. Still would like to return everyone if possible.

Really surprising given his lack of shooting ability, but I guess nothing should surprise me these days.

Not sure how we didn’t see this coming

Hmmm... I guess if he would rather play in the G-League, he's entitled to go do it. I'd be surprised if he were able to crack an NBA rotation with his offensive limitations. (Shooting/tunnel vision with the ball in his hands) Hope it doesn't bite him down the road.

No one has him mocked in the first round.

Him and Mirk would be our two main offensive focal points. What better showcase vs. being on a Top 10 team constantly on national television.

Also I don’t understand haggling over NIL when the real money is in making the league eventually.
💯 . and when your father was in the league…. I’d imagine their family isn’t… STRUGGLING at least.

The guys who go G League rarely re-find their place in a regular NBA rotation.

I mean look at how hard it is for KJ and TSJ to get tick.

Illinois feels a tailor made spot for him. He’d have so much lifelong fan following of a massive Illini fanbase much like what players like Ayo, TSJ, etc. enjoy today.
