A different time and a different team, Mihailo would have been a whole heck of a lot of fun to watch. Admittedly, probably a little bit frustrating, too. Wish him nothing but the best.

He has already been very good at a HIGHER level. Just didn't adjust well to an extremely different style of basketball and got his chain snatched by a kid that looks approximately 20 years younger than he does.
It may be the best thing to just go back home, but I'd love to see him have another crack at CBB.

Talented ball handler but every other part of his game was poor. I'm sure he can find a D1 team that'll give him the complete freedom he had overseas if he wants to stay stateside.
I'll remember him for trying to navigate screens in Champaign and winding up in Peoria. That and the fact he was reportedly 6'3 but no chance he was even 6'

Yet we have fared as well or better than 95% of the other schools during the portal era.

Honestly, one of the most unselfish plays I have ever seen. Petrovic’s season, obviously, didn’t go the way he wanted or expected,
It would have been very easy for him to go get a bucket or two for himself in those last few minutes. Instead, he chose to set up a beloved senior for an opportunity to have his moment.
Class act.
This team would finish DEAD LAST in the conference.

Petro saw the writing on the wall as Morillo and Brown will get minutes in front of him. Lee, if he stays might get time as well.
Huge step back but we always say Wisconsin sucks every offseason and ends up top 5. So who knows until the games are played. Painter needs to bring his A game in coaching to get to the top echelon of the conference.
I honestly think he does very well at a destination where he has the ball in his hands.
Just like Carey Booth last year. Newcomer that didn’t work out… have no reason to dislike the young man.

I was really looking forward to watching him this year. I think not getting the calls when he was driving really shocked him a bit. I wanted to see what year 2 would look like, but totally understand it is likely best for all involved to move on.
