A guy I thought was really going to help. He just looked outmatched. It's too bad. He could probably be good at a lower level. Go play for Groce in Charleston.
He has already been very good at a HIGHER level. Just didn't adjust well to an extremely different style of basketball and got his chain snatched by a kid that looks approximately 20 years younger than he does.

It may be the best thing to just go back home, but I'd love to see him have another crack at CBB.

I'll always remember the Petro stans here 😂

Talented ball handler but every other part of his game was poor. I'm sure he can find a D1 team that'll give him the complete freedom he had overseas if he wants to stay stateside.

I'll remember him for trying to navigate screens in Champaign and winding up in Peoria. That and the fact he was reportedly 6'3 but no chance he was even 6'

I feel like we should be going after 2 to 3 players at a time for key starter roles. Give them all a finite time to make a decision and take whoever commits first. Might help keep us from losing all the time spent waiting on one guy to decide while 3 or 4 others that could have also filled the spot that we would have been happy with have already committed elsewhere.
Yet we have fared as well or better than 95% of the other schools during the portal era.
