Obviously if he wants to come here, great. However, an elite 3 and D guy might be more of what we need instead of another volume scorer. Things change if we lose Stoj or Mirk.

Editing my reply. I missed the "Ben replacement" part of your post. Still unsure on this one. We're already 9 deep if we retain all the core pieces from last season, and that's not including Ty or Lee. I'm guessing they're both as good as gone. But if we add Dozic, that's still a 10-deep team. Is Jake Davis no longer needed with the additions we're getting?

Cruz is a freakin dude! He’d be a darn good pivot if needed.

Doesn’t have the family connection or high major experience but he could make a Lamar Wilkerson-like jump.

One thing that should be noted is Blackwell played with Nick Boyd (and succeeded wonderfully). He was not the alpha on that team, Boyd was.

So, I'd imagine he's capable of co-existing with other good players.

Wonder if we lose Morillo or Jake if Blackwell signs.

We're not the only folks that know Underwood commonly plays 8-9 guys..
