Yeah wasn't he originally suppose to announce yesterday, then we had 4 announce. Wondered if that was because he wanted to not do the same day.
Who knows.
If they miss on Blackwell and Drej is back (expected), I think they add a guard and a long term play at the 4.

Honestly, the board has been really measured the last few days (comparatively) with the exception of a few randos. Confidence breeds confidence and regardless of what happens from here on out we are in an incredible space.
Who would have thought Ben would go from being the bane of Illini basketball to some last year to being a key cog in the wheels of our rise back to the final four this year.

Just curious and I know this is a next years problem. But what is our plan for the front line after next year? Big T and Big Z gone and chance Mirk gone too. Going to have to pony up a lot of money for bigs too.
You guys are giving me a hard time and many want Jason to go but not Blake. Who's backing up to 4/5 if Z gets hurt or sick? Blake, Jake or Andre? Z is litweallt us uf Jason camt play. I bet we add a guy for tgar role.
Bright side: if we get Blackwell we don't have to worry about any of this.
I could see Ty moving down a level, tearing it up for two years, and returning to the UI to join the staff in some capacity. He would be a great addition as a mentor.
