What’s the general consensus on the team next season?
I'm thinking 7-5 to 6-6, new QB plus concerns on O-line and D-line. We should have 3 easy non BIG wins. 2-3 games not much of a chance. The rest is what determines the season
id like to think so, particularly for a kid "who's here because his highly touted brother signed up".
i really like his attitude. will be rooting for him come fall. plus a TE who can throw makes for some
interesting trickery? the summer in the weight room might do him good too.
Any rumors out there if the first game will be a Thursday or Friday?
WRs are going to be really good, Houser could have a nice season. Seems like the OL picture will be much clearer this year in terms of who the top 8 guys are. No idea how the run game will work out. It was one of the worst in conference last year without sugarcoating it
Nobody has any clue on the defense with the scheme change. Going to have to be patient, usually takes longer than a year to fully get it up to speed. Good to have all the secondary experience back
Punt team has to be better this year
I'll have what Zuppke's drinking, but I'm not comfortable with 10 wins. I'm rooting for a 10 win season but my money would be on 8 until I know more of the facts. Felt much more confident going into last season when I wished for 10 but expected 9.
An 8 win season would be unprecedented success in my lifetime. Everyone is playoff brained obviously but I would be EXTREMELY happy with 10-3, 9-4, 8+
