Always good to get that first win. Pitching figures to be a problem for this team all season long, but nice to see the offense coming alive.
Also nice to see the start by Charlotte. Only three games, so not going to get too excited, but first in HRs, runs and OPS while second in OBP is a nice start. Of course a 19-run explosion in game 3 does help. But first in ERA and BA against, while second in WHIP and Ks is encouraging. Most important might be that Hagen Smith and Noah Schultz combined for 3 hits, 1 run, 2 walks and 9 Ks in 7 innings in game 3. Help is coming. Just can’t get here soon enough.

It's so much nicer to now talk about how close the Sox are to First Place than talking about how many losses they are piling up along the way. And the Japanese slugger the Sox brought in is having a nice start to his MLB Season.

According to reports, White Sox will be dipping into their prospect pool early next week with Sam Antonacci and Noah Schultz both expected to get the call. Future is arriving.
Former Sox Garrett Crochet is having a moment – and not a good one. He just gave up 11 runs in less than 2 innings. For the season he currently has an ERA of 7.58.

The San Diego Padres did not do the White Sox any favors. Not the ball club, but the ownership. The franchise just sold for nearly $4 billion dollars. Yikes... and not in one of the major markets in America.
This is just going to create more problems for the White Sox as they look to a future sale. This will make the sale of the Sox even more expensive and more complicated looking for that kind of coin as they do not even yet have a locked-in plan for a new Chicago ball park. In fact, it might even tip the scales more toward the franchise being moved out of Chicago.
This is not what Sox fans need right now. Nor is is another sub-.500 start to this season.

They already have a plan for Ishbia to become the owner. I thought they even had a deal in place but I could be wrong.
Yes, but is he willing to pay such a high price now that the value of franchises has skyrocketed? He might not want to meet that very high price if there is wiggle room in the agreement he has. But let's hope that he does or someone else can to keep the team on the South Side.
It is all of the Ishbia's so they will have the coin. Without a stadium they aren't worth that much. He is already part owner so I can't believe he would paying nearly that much.
