Haven't been following the recruiting threads the last couple weeks since the Blackwell news, is the team going to add another vet from the portal/Europe or is the staff good with the roster?
Insiders have mentioned that Illinois will be looking to add someone from abroad over the next month or two.

I know Indy mentioned Danillo a while back and I consider it a good sign he has yet to commit. 40.6% from three is on point too. I know others mentioned they expect to add a depth peice that could back up the 4 and also develop. He has a good looking shot and length. Showed the Mirk like one leg fade away too. Misko is his agent too which may help.
36.3% from 3.

I’m not sure where you’re finding 40.6%.

I go back & forth on Tennessee.

Those guards are awesome. But it's a lot of guards, and im not sure about the frontcourt. Kinda reminds me of Lville last year a bit.
well... you were calling Jake Davis a guard as well. Haralson and Juke are forwards - like Andrej for example. 6"7 long and athletic.

All of Louisville's guards were 6"4 and under.

Well, i think a lot of that is depending how you look at things. I see them as wings, 3s and I think they do as well. Its likely they all want to go pro somewhere and for Andre and Juke if the want to be in the NBA id think it will be as what they would call themselves or a guard

Before this gets buried in prior, locked thread.

PG passing and PF rebounding as a wing. And high school & AAU teammates with Mason Martin. In-state / Chicago kid working his way to Top 30 in the country.

Trust that nothing relating to Cole Kelly will go without notice. Already being heralded as the next “must get” recruit.

Though on this one I suppose I’d be safe to subscribe to the @ChiefGritty newsletter in which history will again repeat itself that he’ll go to Duke and everyone will be pissed, but then we’ll just end up with someone better instead.

The point is "traditional positions" isn't the way to look at Brad's lineup, because candidly, who cares? Maybe outside of very high-level grouping, but it's about what skills actually mesh together in a 5-man lineup.

In lineups of Wagler, Davis, Andrej, Mirk and Tomi last year was Jake Davis or Andrej technically playing the "2 guard", because you're saying they're both forwards. This board acts like if players don't fit neatly in 1-5 traditional bball definitions the team will spontaneously combust upon the announcement of the starting lineup.

You are right the guards are bigger than Lvilles, but that doesn't mean i think they're a big team. And Haralson was bringing the ball up and initiating the offense primarily for ND last year, so if he's a forward, I guess he's banned from now that now.

So we are obviously going to be referring to one Quintin Coleman a lot in the coming year, which is a terrific problem to have... anybody else having a few seconds of confusion every time "Coleman" is referenced and it doesn't mean Coleman Hawkins? It's been a while for CoHawk, but we had him for 4 years so the association is strong.

Motion to refer to our talented freshman as QC?

I totally get it too.

The longer Duke does without a chip the more enticing it is for a top recruit to believe he’ll restore Durham’s pride.

As a side note, toured the Duke campus recently as part of a college visit for my nephew. It looks like Hogwarts.

That said Champaign easily clears Durham as a college town but I presume most Duke kids are partying across all of RTP.
