I think our top 2027 guard targets are either A) Navarro Bowman or B) Pettigrew as a re-class.

This guy was mentioned as an option as well...although I have to believe there will be A LOT of competition for his services.

I love OA for all that he's done for the program and the kids he's brought in over the years, but over the more recent past it seems like he's been less and less involved/effective on the recruiting side. We all know that Hamer is the #1 AC recruiter in the nation (/s), but what has OA done for us lately?

I would love for him to be able to help us land a kid like this from his backyard.

Insiders - any insight on this recruit and OA's role on the staff in general? Am I just uninformed of what he's been contributing?

Do we? He's a 5 star.

If you go by the 247 composite, sure. Composite has him at .9916 and a 5-Star.

But the interesting thing is the composite doesn't make sense. It's based on an average of his 247, On3, and ESPN ratings right? Here are those ratings:

247: 95 (4-star)
On3/Rivals: 95 (4-star)
ESPN: 88 (4-star)

So where does the 5th star come from? It's kind of like how the 247 composite just wasn't mathing for Quentin Coleman, then they fixed his score when some people on twitter pointed it out. I think the thing is just straight broken.

No doubt a good player, but at 6-2 smaller than what we've been having success with lately. We've emphasized positional size and been rewarded with a Final Four appearance for it. No need to fix a winning formula, if history is any indication we will find the guys we need, whether in prep recruitment or the transfer portal.

Wouldn’t ZZ be another example

He’s unranked in the ESPN 100 (and listed as a 3 star)
136 on Rivals
125 on 247

but is 104 in the composite.
