Making a parent pick a favorite kid. Though he only had them for a year. Pretty telling, though.I think it is very telling that the coach who saw them in practice (everyone sees games) took who he thought was the best player available (of the 3) or all remaining prospects.
I personally don't believe in that but what do I know?I tend to agree but in the world of wemby I'm curious if mara isn't the best choice. he can pass and defend and is 7'3. put him next to AD and that's a killer front court defense.... if you think mara can translate
This is the key point. Mock drafts are not a 1:1 stand-in for the actual opinions and evaluations of NBA staff. We (normal people) have a habit of saying, “that’s such bad value, I never saw him mocked top 10 anywhere!” Or top 15, top 20, what have you. But teams aren’t drafting relative to random journalists and blog owners. Theyre drafting based on their evaluation and a cost-benefit weighing the potential extra value obtained in trading down vs. the risk of losing a guy you have rated more highly.Honestly Morez got slept on by the draft industry a lot and I don't think actual NBA evaluators though as low of him.
Moving up requires assests to give up. The Bulls don't have assets that aren't future firsts and giving them up in insane right now.Moving up costs resources and the Bulls aren't really in a position to give up resources. You definitely don't want to give up future picks.
The Swain thing seems pretty simple, he's a SLAP guy, and he's a bargain at 15 if you can teach him to shoot. That's a gamble that seems consistent with the philosophy Graham has articulated.
Did he just say Keaton only made 65k in NIL last year?? That has to be the greatest ROI in the brief history of NIL across both sports.
Yep, and as I pointed out in previous post, he shot over 81% from FT line, improved his two-point and three-point percentages every year, and really only started shooting threes much this past season (hit almost 75% of his made 3s this year) and at 34.4% wasn’t terrible. I think it’s a pretty good gamble he can become a more efficient long-distance shooter.Moving up requires assests to give up. The Bulls don't have assets that aren't future firsts and giving them up in insane right now.
Swain has all the stuff you can't teach. Give him a reliable catch and shoot corner 3 and any playoff roster can use him.
This is NOT going to make the Timberwolves fans happy. They love Naz Reid.Lamelo Ball to Minnesota
