Apparently a barber shop in Tuscola.Where is this coming from? The 99% favorite for Big Ten Preseason POY is Jeremy Fears (let alone national player of the year for Mirk).
You need to get out more.

WOW. 2 players in the top 11? Thats awesomeDraftKings NPOY odds has Mirkovic 4th and Vaaks 11th
I’ve always thought of Morillo to be the biggest X factor. He needs to be capable of playing a 15-18 minute role (or else our rotation becomes extra thin).Expecting Morillo to play the Ben minutes.
I have the same thought- beating UConn would be such a monkey off our back- almost critical to feel like we’ve taken the next stepWe could wipe the slate clean on a couple dark days with wins in November and Early-December. Lord, beating Duke and UConn would be so cathartic. UConn more than Duke, since their fans suck so much, but man would I love a win against both.
I don't see either on that link.DraftKings NPOY odds has Mirkovic 4th and Vaaks 11th
Ha had to do a double take when I looked too. It won't show IL if you're located here bc of state law.I don't see either on that link.

Maybe a better rebounding Sandro Mamukelashvili at the next level? Similar build. Not an overwhelming athlete, but decent. Can knock down three’s, put the ball on the floor, and usually makes the right play. If Mirk loses some of the baby fat, he would look a lot like him on the floor.I think a great comp for Mirk is actually Luka Garza in terms of style, play and potential output. Luka had a similar freshman year, then his sophomore year dealt with some injuries and setbacks, so I think looking at Garza's junior year as what we could hope for Mirk.
I imagine if he has that type of year based on what the odds makers say (National player of the year odds) then he goes pro. I don't think we'll see 4 years with Mirk and likely next will be his last if he meets expectations.
On the best Illinois team in my lifetime, pur best player was our 3rd leading scorer. Demon Williams, 2005. So your statement is wrong.Leading scorer is your best player
I’m in MO and it does have Mirk at 4 and Vaaks 11I don't see either on that link.
Couldn’t agree more on all accounts.I have the same thought- beating UConn would be such a monkey off our back- almost critical to feel like we’ve taken the next step
At Duke is going to be an expected loss- they have a Superteam but not one player of the year like the last two years, so in my mind that game is only upside and a great scheduling job by Brad
I can’t wait for more Bed-Headed Bedlam out of Mirk this next season!

We’ve got a great track record of second year transfers taking a leap forward.Big Z benefiting from staying and developing in the same program….believing in the process.
