How many roster spots do they have? Feels like they keep adding more and more

He’s in the California state case, so he is expected to be eligible. Is this guy involved in all of the flip-flopping court decisions we've seen of late? If so, never know if he actually lands there. Seems as a kid who played 30+ games in each of his 4 seasons would be in grave danger of being ruled ineligible once again before the season begins. There's no obvious hardship or injury waiver there. Seems his situation is far from final at this point.

….
The only state cases that have been “stayed” are the Ohio and Tennessee ones (in addition to the Colorado which was a class-wide injunction).
Anyone who gained their eligibility via those cases are in danger of losing their eligibility.
IANAL - but I don't understand why the conferences can't come out with their own rules for eligibility like the SEC did with Bediako last year. A local court eventually denied the injunction, rendering Bediako permanently ineligible. If the conferences had bylaws that declared players ineligible if they went through the draft process and went to the courts to deny these individual injunctions it should eliminate these 5 in 5 players coming back. The California case certainly does not mean immunity. The TRO granted in California, just like the ones in Ohio, Tenn, Georgia, is a temporary relief order and subject to NCAA appeals. There's also precedent danger with the NCAA already successfully securing higher court stays to overturn these other athlete wins.
The Ohio/Tenn/Colorado/Georgia cases do not help his chances, they hurt it immensely.

The RJ Louis case is particularly blatant as he singe multiple pro contracts and was even traded in the NBA! I thought the SEC bylaws clearly make him ineligible, but LSU added him anyway?
I dont think RJ LUIS is still eligibleThe RJ Louis case is particularly blatant as he singe multiple pro contracts and was even traded in the NBA! I thought the SEC bylaws clearly make him ineligible, but LSU added him anyway?
Lendeborg to McCoy is a shooting downgrade.I said the same thing last year, so ill be cautious. But McCoy, Thiam, and Estrella is a ROUGH 3 - 5 shooting lineup.
All technically true, but “upgrade” doesn’t really mean much in this context. Thiam is a career sub-30% three-point shooter and Estrella attempted just 10 threes last yearLendeborg to McCoy is a shooting downgrade.
Morez to Estrella is a shooting upgrade.
Mara to Thiam is a shooting upgrade.
Yes, but it does show that if it wasn't a problem last year, then it probably won't be a problem this year either. All technically true, but “upgrade” doesn’t really mean much in this context. Thiam is a career sub-30% three-point shooter and Estrella attempted just 10 threes last year

I'm going to enjoy watching Michigan half Court offense this yearEstrella is definitely a worse shooter than Morez.
Morez shot 34% from 3 on 35 attempts (that's nearly 1 attempt per game).
Estrella shot just 10 threes the entire season. Most of the time he's a non shooter (but yes, did shoot 40% extremely low volume though).
Lendeborg to McCoy is a shooting downgrade.
Morez to Estrella is a shooting upgrade.
Mara to Thiam is a shooting upgrade.
I mean look at the foul call Fears got on KJ.
This !!!! is infuriating to watch. Hope B1G officials don’t take the bait.
