There is a noticeable increase in the aggressiveness of our defense under Hauck this year. I love how our guys are swarming to the play and gang tackling. The first real test of course won't come until the Duke game, but the early signs are encouraging.

But between the coverage bust, the PI on the coverage bust, and the last play where I think we could have easily been flagged for a late hit, i have some PTSD on the defense continually doing stupid ish.

Our secondary should be our bright spot on defense. Lot of experience and talent there. Just a bad play from Cox.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it was actually our guy's fault on that deep completion UAB got. Looked like he slipped just before UAB caught it. It is HOT and it is HUMID in Champaign right now. Combine that with our lovely artificial turf and you have a slip-and-slide type situation, especially when running at full speed.
