I expect David to start doing basketball stuff in a couple weeks. Boot is off as said above.

Then how many backcourts can you name that had both guys who were All BIG? (last 10 years)Let’s not get this all twisted, you claimed they were the “best B1G backcourt in the last 10 years” and they might not even be the 30th best![]()

Domask and Shannon is one example. The fact that you can only name one, despite sounding so arrogant, kind of proves my point.
Mara, Morez, Yaxel was the best frontcourt.
Pretty sure this is misleading the facts (otherwise you would’ve just named them).sports-reference.com only has 1st/2nd/3rd team going back to 2020 but its happened 15x... so about 3x per season
So I named more than 1... there's 15
I’ve never actually said it’s inarguable. I have said it’s very much a possibility (which is what you’re so vehemently upset about). And we're using your own criteria that you've chosen yourself 3 separate times and forced upon everyone else throughout the whole discussion:
1. "oh no, we must use PPG"
2. "oh no, we mustn't use BPM, we must use PORPAGATU!"
3. "oh no, we must use All B1G"
And you've been proven wrong every single time. There is no metric exists that places Boyd/Blackwell anywhere near the "best B1G backcourt of the last 10 years".
You had the cute little kissy face emoji in your last message, so about this whole 'sounding so arrogant' thing: I'm just mirroring your own attitude. You act like this is basically inarguable that they're the undisputed best backcourt of the last 10 years, but despite this conversation taking AN ENTIRE WEEK of you fumbling and staggering around, trying so desperately to find some way to make this true: it just isn't.
Pretty sure this is misleading the facts (otherwise you would’ve just named them).
15 times there’s been multiple All BIG players on the same team? Possibly.
15 times that both the PG and SG were? Highly unlikely. If it really is the case, I’d like to know them? Please.

Look, this debate has gone on long enough. It's silly at this point. I've steered clear and am only now jumping in in the hopes that we can just end this thing (this is a hail mary play). PMABG has been on a historical (some might say elite) take heater this offseason. I bet we could get in at least 1-2 more before the season officially kicks off.Look, this debate has gone on long enough. It's silly at this point. No "possibly." No "arguably." No qualifications at all.
You said what you said. It was a redonkulous claim. If you've backed off it, then fine.
Maybe it's time to take a beat and gear up for your next hot take.

I did do the research. Since 2020, there's been 4 backcourts (not 15) who were both All BIG:You can do the research too if you'd like, I made 100% sure every single one of the players was listed as a guard on the site I used (sports-reference.com)
I did do the research. Since 2020, there's been 4 backcourts (not 15) who were both All BIG:
- BOYD / BLACKWELL
- DOMASK / SHANNON
- AUDIGE / BUIE
- PLUMMER / FRAZIER
My ranking would be:
1) Domask and Shannon
2) Boyd and Blackwell
3) Audige and Buie
4) Frazier and Plummer
I do think #2 is much closer to #1 than they are to 3 or 4.
Nice try and appreciated, Juice. Unfortunately the B1G replay official just added one more post to the clock.Look, this debate has gone on long enough. It's silly at this point. Yes, Audige won B10 DPOY.1. All-Conference selection (particularly as a yes/no proposition) is not a good way to judge this particular question. I think it's entirely possible that a backcourt that features a 1st team AA and a very good player who did not make All-Big Ten but maybe just missed out would be a better backcourt than a backcourt that had a 2nd and 3rd team All-Big Ten. In which case this criteria is useless.
Take for example the 2021 award season. Ayo was a consensus 1st team AA and Cousy Award winner, and Frazier was a All-Big Ten Honorable Mention, and selected to the All-Defensive team. Does that really not stack up against a 2nd team and 3rd team All-Conference selection?
2. If you are actually taking this criteria seriously, then your ranking is wrong. Boyd and Blackwell were 2nd and 3rd team selections. Therefore, they are far worse than Domask and Shannon, who were both 1st team All-Big Ten. They are also worse than Audige and Buie, who were both 2nd team selections. They are equal to Frazier and Plummer.
Wait, I know I recognize this from(obviously) one of our heartbreaking losses, but for the life of me I can't remember which exact one it's from. Help? Anybody?
