Its not the meager budget at play here we spent all the big money on our cb and safety with literally little if any money on our defensive line and linebackers thats the recipe most us fans knew before the season started was going to be a horrible defense and a step back season

Yes, and we were right there to win the game, and were the better team.
The problem was timeout management, throwing away points on 4th down, and special teams. Not the defense or the offense.

hard to be upset when we’re living in a time when NIL spending correlates almost exactly with on-field success. we have a middle of the road NIL budget, so I expect middle of the road play on the field.

Just to change the subject a little, did anyone else refer to Turpin and Tate as The Terrible T’s? Because they kept saying how Terrible everything was, whether it was the offense or the defense but most often the referee?
