UConn, MSU, TT and Michigan will all be ranked higher than that.
Sounds we're, but we're super lucky the injury happened when it did. Same with Z. Looks like they'll both be ready to roll. Let's hope that's the extent of the injuries. The last couple of years has been crazy.
Illini hoops certainly deserves a season without injuries and/or drama. But after 70 years as an Illini fan, if I had to bet my life one way or the other, I would not hesitate to predict a constant battle against adversities. But who knows? Hope springs eternal.Sounds we're, but we're super lucky the injury happened when it did. Same with Z. Looks like they'll both be ready to roll. Let's hope that's the extent of the injuries. I know the common thinking is we are uniquely prone to injury issues, but every fanbase thinks that about their team. In fact, we've had better luck than many, as @21ChampaignSt pointed out in an excellent post when this came up previously.Illini hoops certainly deserves a season without injuries and/or drama. Many people do not remember this but one of the worst injuries was back when Steve Lantern the point guard back with Eddie Johnson and company. We never recursion that one. He said he has lost like 40 pounds. Been walking a lot 10000 steps a day. I saw him and his wife walking in a park Labor Day evening. Is it me or tv or has Coach Brad lost some weight? He looked svelte today. Younger.

User Image checks out!I was the dope.
This feels like the scene in Office Space when Peter asks Lawrence if he ever gets asked if he has a case of the MondaysI asked Coach if he ever checks out comments on Illinois Loyalty. He stared at me for an eternity, saying nothing. Daggers. Then said no. Then asked why I asked that question. I said no particular reason, just curious, I check out comments all the time on Loyalty and 99.9% are complimentary of you and your program. He lightened up. He mentioned something about Dopamine?; he don't need none.
But for a while there, I thought Coach would invite me to local Pizza Hut. Great! I had a coupon. But my instinct took over. I, 5'9", not gonna meet anyone who is 6'3 or 4" and is 12 years younger than me in any parking lot, not even with a coupon.
Coach was great; we're lucky to have him. I was the dope.
I think he was subtle in suggesting Lantern was our shining light??You are referring to Steve Lanter, perhaps?

Definitely worth noting that this assumes JT Toppin plays in that game, which almost certainly isn't happening...
