A few tidbits from a Courtsider gathering this evening:

Jackson's three-pointer is much improved.
Lety is more aggressive on the offensive end of the court.
Parchment gained confidence playing with her national team this summer and gained strength in the weightroom.
Bourrage is getting better every day but is having to adjust to an entirely new system and set of expectations. Need to be patient.
Health is improving but haven't yet had a full practice with everyone at full strength.
Expects conference to be even stronger than it has been. No gimmes.
Entire roster is eligible to return next year, and she would like for that to happen. Still recruiting though.

All 15 of our current players will still have eligibility next year so it is possible that we won't have room for any new players. However, I would expect some turnover.

Dunno. Last year both Finney and Alves. The year before, Vasconcelos missed her sophomore season. The year before, Dolan missed most of her soph. season and then about half of her season the next year. Bollin missed all of her junior year. Cook missed almost all of her senior year.

The Illini will have at least 11 games broadcast by conference partners.

Knowing the remained of the games will be on Big+ I think to have this many on the conference partners networks speaks well as they think we will draw viewers. The Iowa, Washington, UCLA, USC and Michigan games all will have ranked teams, great players on the other teams and huge effect on standings. It shows that more than just the people on this board think we have a great team this year.
