Game Thread: Illinois vs Purdue

[LFOD]

Purdue pressure is effective, we can’t get anything going

[aaeismacgychel]

Fake punt?

[Lakes333]

Hauser is awful. Once again, targeting one guy.

[BWBW]

Not a good start....

[Illini-Rule]

If Houser is going to play like this, I'd just as soon get our 2nd string QB some reps.

[Pikeillinifan]

Should have just gone for it there.

[New Creation]

Why the heck are we punting here.

[bleedorange and blue]

Just shockingly bad all the way around. Coaching, play calling, execution. Let's tip- off

[Homecoming 2019]

What is that 3rd down play call if your plan is to punt?

[Fly Illini Fly!]

The offense is awful today.

They've only had 4 drives.

One of them resulted in a missed FG which isn't their fault.

[LFOD]

The defense is going to have to win this game for us.

I’ll show myself out..

How is that when we have our starting five playing up front

[jimbo72]

What I learned from the broadcast: Barry Lunney is the Purdue head coach, and Nate Houser is our quarterback. I will never understand the low standards the commentators are held to. That lack of attention to detail would not fly in most businesses.

I agree and tried to sink up radio, just wouldn't work. Always 1 play behind. These announcers are over paid and worthless.

[aaeismacgychel]

These throws….

Katin is having his first bad game. Unfortunate but it is what it is. Gotta fight through it

[ChiTown]

The offense is awful today.

They probably just catching up to the defense.

[BWBW]

We need a stop.

No, I am not a comedian.

.i would like Boyd to get a chance. Houser is mailing this game in.

[Marshall_Lucky]

In something only football adjacent, they added some "illini spirit of the game" thing that they interrupt the 3 in 1 to talk about. It was weird

[RockfordIllini]

Really uninspired playcalling in offense today.

As bad as the defense has been they have done enough so far.

[TheFlyingIllini1317]

Houser and Lunney diasterclass, defense needs two stops now after getting none last half

[Pikeillinifan]

There is no stop coming today.

[TooHot4Tots]

Kreutz…seriously. LB development has sucked

[aaeismacgychel]

What the hell type of tackling positioning was that? Good effing lord

[Mr. Roberts]

So much for hte punt yardage.

[AugustWest]

We are not good
