Illini Basketball 2026-2027

Indeed, sportsbooks have a clear 1st and 2nd tier then it gets muddy (but they still give it a 66% chance it isn't one of the top 4):

LSU in front of Bama and USC? They have 5 players.

It's often hard to predict. If you look at the last couple surprises in the F4.

Illinois preseason 17 - who saw Wagler coming?
Florida preseson 21 - who saw no names Condin, Haugh, Chinyelu coming?
Arizona - 13 - very young, 3 freshmen, offset with Bradley.

A couple teams are bound to pull our of the 10-25 range and make a run, guessing who is the hard part.

I am not giving Kelsey any chance of winning anything, even with a 30mm roster.

Looking at the F4 box, looks like they gave Tomi his shots, focused on shutting down the rest of the floor.

The early season match, Tomi only had 5 shots. Mirk did very little in either game, so it seemed their focus was on shutting down Mirk and keeping the rest of the floor inefficient.

Brad needs to grab that tape and understand how to hedge.

"here is my advise for illinois coaching staff after quickly glancing at couple box scores"

is rarely so simple, i actually thought the final 4 game that illinois played really well and shots didn't go in or rolled around rim etc etc, while it seemed uconn was getting bounces off top of the backboard and banking in threes and stuff like that

There was some of that, but I don't think we're in any place to call it bad bounces against those guys at this point.

And they were 26th in odds a couple months ago (just behind USC, Indiana, and Alabama), so I guess the books are higher on them now with a more complete roster?

You can sign up for the entire season (six months) $44.99 or go month to month for $12.99 per month ($38.97 for all Illinois Big+ games).

The $44.98 option does not automatically renew, so you don’t have to worry about cancelling. The $12.99 option renews monthly until you cancel.
