Game Thread: Illinois vs Oregon

[BWBW]

If We had Houser today...

[FloridaMan]

Just comical defensive play on that one

[Illini-Rule]

Just comical defensive play on that one

And we still can't tackle

[OskieWowWow]

Kreutz with the wrong read again right after the announcers praised him

[Illini-Rule]

I feel like our players are weak and slow compared to everyone we've played

[ChiTown]

We’re back playing touch football.

[Ryllini]

I liked that diagnosis there. We actually set the edge and made a strong tackle

[ChiefGritty]

All you young quarterbacks, do the opposite of what Clayton and Raiola are doing when the rush gets to them

[Illiniaaron]

The off sides gives them another shot.

[EmeraldCityIllini]

Whyyyyyy

[biglug58]

Why do I always find myself counting the number of defenders we have on the field now?

[CDRUSN]

If I'm Oregon, I would run it hard at Illinois all day and dare Illinois to stop it consistantly. Surely Dan Lanning and his OC are seeing all the missed tackles on run plays.

[AssemblyHallForever]

Why can’t we tackle!!!

You’re hired

It would be coaching malpractice not to kick fg.

A 2 possession game would feel like near game over the way our offense has struggled.

Lovie burner identified

[WSIOTCSS]

sucks that Houser got hurt this game feels like it’d be so winnable with him but without idk if the offense can do anything

[Pikeillinifan]

Defense is playing admirably, if only we could complete a few quick passes.

True but Oregon needs style points if they want any hope of making the playoffs. A close win ain’t cutting it to get into the top 12

[Ryllini]

Hear me out, say our offensive line blacks out and creates crazy lanes and clean pockets and MCJ turns into rainman, we can get 7 here and get the ball out of half and a seat at the table

[TheChief4Life]

LAUGHERY!!!!!!!!

[LFOD]

Laughery TD!!!! Wow

[dsg]

[Illiniaaron]

Holy crap
