I really think the refs were going to screw up the clock before the replay crew told them about the runoff. And I don’t know why they picked up the flag for the face mask, they pulled his helmet off. Crazy couple of plays
so dudes helmet gets torn off his head bythe defense but because its dead ball theres no personal foul. but it does count as a ten second run off to end the game? i cant follow the logic
Might be the most chaotic, confusing end to a game I've ever seen.
The craziest part: UCF's kicker didn't have his chin strap on which led to his helmet coming off and the 10 sec run off. Before the kick I saw it and told my Dad "he never gets hit so I guess it doesn't really matter". Turns out it mattered big time.
good catch, i thought BYU had pulled it off. that actually makes sense
