I thought for sure the field was going to be 5 yards longer than Aidan would like it to be and so be tackled at the 2.5 yard line.

Same here. Section 126. The two rows behind us and the row in front of us haven’t been the same yet this season (or last).I agree about buying tickets. The seats in front of us haven't been the same people all season. I believe it is about 8-10 seats.
Funny moment for me. I glanced away from screen for a few seconds. I look back & think Oregon has 4 wide receivers against our 2 db's & I'm yelling at the screen. Cover em cover em. Then the play starts & I realized 2 of em were linement. LOL. Sometimes rational thought leaves the body when in the midst of battle.wtf was up with Oregon running that stupid way off balance formation play ?
it reminded me of pop warner 7th grade
Agree on all points. Basketball threads are full every week in-season with complaints about phones and Krush indifference, putting students in a prime section only to have that section empty after halftime is not a good situation.Do you watch or go to the basketball games? They are constantly on their phones.
I was laughing that the post game show hosts were saying the students are going to show up for the Neb game on a Friday night. It will depend on the weather. Cold game and they won't show up. Or if they do, they will leave early to go to the bars. It's sad because the games have been fun and the team can use their help with noise in that end zone.
I know people are calling for the students to be put on the 50 yard line behind the opponent bench, but if they don't come or if they leave early, why waste great seats? If they have to be in the east main, put them in the sections they are already in and the balcony above. Do all B10 schools have this issue?
As far as the sales to Oregon fans, when you let people buy 10 seats for their season ticket allocation, what do you expect? We haven't had the same people in front of us all year. Different people every game.
I have no idea whether you’re way older than me or way younger.People of my generation call that a Clausen
Yeah, was at the game and saw that as well. Well designed play w/multiple open options. Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but I was rewatching the game highlights and didn't realize that Hudson Clement was literally open on this TD play by like 15 yards in every direction.

The announcers did mention two receivers being wide open. It was a very good play design, and one that is made possible with an effective run game. Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but I was rewatching the game highlights and didn't realize that Hudson Clement was literally open on this TD play by like 15 yards in every direction.

Yeah I just assumed live there was a CB off screen but rewarching it there isn't a Oregon player anywhere near Clement. The announcers did mention two receivers being wide open. It was a very good play design, and one that is made possible with an effective run game.

He ran that as a junior in which is even more impressive. He enrolled early and didn’t do track his senior year
Right on.Oregon... USC...Welcome again to the Big Ten. Both experienced the same thing on Saturday.
These privileged traditional West Coast powers are being introduced a little bit more every year to what good old tough Midwestern football has been for generations. Nothing that we ‘Flatlanders’ haven’t known about Midwestern football for a long time.
The West Coast never paid too much attention to Midwestern Flatland Ballers – except for maybe USC and Notre Dame which was always billed as some kind of clash of college football royalty.
And there is someone else still having trouble with life in the Large Ten. The proud Nebraska Cornhuskers which was so used to great success for so long and which still has not adjusted to life in the Big Ten. Which has confused Husker fans still trying to come to terms with all this and still wishing for the good-old Big 8 and We Only Have To Worry About Oklahoma years.
The Midwest may not have Pacific Ocean views and salty air or really tall Redwoods around and too many rainy days. No, it’s got prairies (a few left anyway) and feisty weather (for sure). But it always has lots of guys every year who know how to Play Ball whether they all come from here or not. It’s not just the old Three Yards and a Cloud of Dust anymore. But it is still Midwest grit to play here.
Welcome to the Flatlands...
And he played at a 2A high school in Illinois where the largest schools play in 8A.Wow. That's motorin'!
I wish every date did it like we did in Wisconsin. 1A was the biggest, if you do it the other way you have to know how many classes there are to know if the competition is any good. And he played at a 2A high school in Illinois where the largest schools play in 8A.
When I watched it looked almost like Laughery waited to hit the x button for speed burst to lull them into taking a bad angle.I don't know how and he runs a 4.3-4.4. 10.5 is HS. There aren't many teams or players in the entire country, not just Oregon, that would catch Laughery in an open field sprint to the end zone when he is already full speed and no one in front of him. Those guys are plenty fast as you can see how they almost closed on the angles. Just not faster.
Listening to some Oregon podcasts after the game, they were basically saying, yeah, the season isn't going well, but losing to Illinois? That's unfathomable! I would have thought going 19-7 with consecutive bowl wins over two SEC opponents the last two years would have given the program a little more cred.We need a running count of how many times opposing teams fire a coach shortly after we beat them. I feel like it happens every year.
Cut those clips and put them on repeat in the locker room. Maybe it'll help spark us so we don't risk falling asleep against the TerpsListening to some Oregon podcasts after the game, they were basically saying, yeah, the season isn't going well, but losing to Illinois? The new conference members have quickly found out that not only is flying out to Ann Arbor, Columbus, or Happy Vally and trying to win a game a big challenge, but it's not that easy to fly out to Iowa City, Madison, Champaign, etc. to win either.Oregon... That's 10.5 100 speed making the last kick at the 7 or 8 yard line. I watched 4 or 5 times and he kicked into another gear there. This image tells the story perfectly.
