Game Thread: Illinois at Maryland

[JJE]

Yeah, more of that Barnett kid, please.

[RIP_Chief_2003]

Can Clayton play WR?

[Retro62]

How much will Georgia offer Barnett for next year?

[ORANGEANDBLUE2011]

That boy is gonna need more cash to stay next year!! And I like it!

[TheFlyingIllini1317]

JAVARI!

[TheodoreRex]

TYPICALLY- really bad teams like Maryland usually turtle here.. let's see what happens.

[UCantHideYer]

We were just awaiting the 4th quarter for the sake of being known as a 4Q team!

[skyIdub]

Hot take: that's still a net +11 rushing up the middle..../s

[biglug58]

[CDRUSN]

We can wear down a mediocre Terp defense, that has been terrible in the 4th quarter all season. Hope they can't do the same thing to our defense.

[ChiTown]

Defense let’s step it up.

[FloridaMan]

THAT'S HOW YOU MAKE A DAMN TACKLE!!!!!!!

[Illini-Rule]

Come on defense

[RML]

Bailey is a dude

[JKR]

How can they be that open

[Altgeld's Bells]

Wiiiddde open in the middle again. Boo.

[FloridaMan]

How many 15-20 yard third down plays can a defense give up? JFC

[EmeraldCityIllini]

The heckle tackling stuff is a form of insanity

[RIP_Chief_2003]

Tanner Heckel is useless out there…

[TooHot4Tots]

Bench 16

[Second place is 1st loser]

Sigh

[Fly Illini Fly!]

Defense seems to only play well when the team REALLY needs them.

[ChiTown]

OMG… Defense…

[skyIdub]

I'd love to see the yards after first contact vs. our defense. I'll bet it's historic.

[AssemblyHallForever]

We take the momentum and we are trying to give it back
