Respectfully disagree. Being an OC at a consistent (even if recently consistent) playoff contender program like Oregon puts you in consideration for pretty big time P4 positions. Even Ryan Walters, who had a great defense at Illinois, only went to Purdue (pretty bottom barrel of the P4).
Heck, Dan Lanning himself is Exhibit A of this.

I should have said “coordinator” and not just OC. Obviously, I’m aware Dan Lanning was Kirby Smart’s DC at Georgia.
