“Keaton Wagler started great with his first quarter. He was under control and calm, consistently driving and kicking to find open teammates. He had four assists in his first four minutes on the court, and drew a foul to get to the line. The rest of the game was pretty rough as the Warriors amped up the defensive pressure. He wasn't quite able to consistently get downhill yet, and the time that he did he smoked a layup off of an average contest. Beyond that, his jumper looks a bit out of rhythm right now compared to where it was at Illinois. Maybe it's just the adjustment to the speed of the NBA, or maybe it's that he added a lot of weight and is still recalibrating the strength he needs to put into each shot. We knew there would be an adjustment period for Wagler, though. His feel stood out quite positively in this game even though he struggled to shoot it.“
Keaton's back to back air ball and brick from 3 were the two worst shots I have ever seen from him.

)Saw a clippers fan comment that said.....he doesn't look like he attempting to actually draw fouls. It appears people just like smacking him every time he drives.
KW still young. Going against seasoned pros, bigger, stronger, faster. The pros will find everything to get him off his game. There will be definitely ups and lots of downs. He just needs to continue to grind, keep his head up, watch a lot of videos of his upcoming opponents, find their weaknesses and exploit them. Every rookie outside of the rarified talent, takes some time.

It’s been mentioned a ton on this board over the years, but it bears repeating - the inability of the Bulls to find a role for Ayo remains utterly perplexing.
Bulls are simply dumb and cheap. Maybe cheap and dumb.

Bulls management is stupid, plain and simple. They have had some talented dudes go through their teams year after year, and nothing to show for it.
If they were smart they'd go get Will Riley and Sabonis if he's not getting along well with the Kings. Instant upgrades. I wanted them to keep Ayo and get Shannon but they wound up in Minnesota. Wilson is a start but it seems they're always in rebuilding mode. I'm just glad the Illini have now put guys in the pros (With more to come). Makes it much more watchable and able to follow with the Bulls in whatever direction they're going in.
