Chicago Bears 2026-2027

The synergy between Caleb and Ben is unlike anything this team has seen in my parents lifetimes. It's sort of terrifying, is this real? Is this actually happening?

In the NFL, being a great team despite the QB performance (which the Bears have been several times in recent decades) is a whooooooooole different thing than being a great team because of the QB performance.

Grandpa, remember when we went to Washington for the 73-0 Bears-Redskin championship game? We were pretty young then.
My older brother doesn't remember that game. I would have loved watching it. Would have had to go to the stadium, there was no TV in our house until the early 60s. Heck, according to my much older brother electricity didn't come down our country gravel road until mid/late 50s. Only Four houses on that 3 or 4 mile stretch of road, so we weren't anywhere near the top of the priority list.

It's conceivable that the Bears could win the Super Bowl in February & Illini take down the national title in April. The thought is as Bret would say Borderline Erotic. The occurrence should it happen would be Borderline Orgasmic!!

Bear Down & ILL!!

I know others have probably mentioned it but the Green Bay sucks chant needs to only be uttered when we're playing Green Bay.
I loved it during the Cubs-Sox series. It was a moment to share that while we want to beat you, we will always agree that Green Bay Sucks!

I see the Bills cut CJ Gardner-Johnson. I wonder if the Bears would consider picking him up again considering their weakness on the back end.
I know they're big on culture, but don't care on this one. He wasn't bad in the locker room last year and Bryant simply needs more time. He won't be back until next year. Have to a VERY least, kick the tires.

They were big on culture last year, and still brought him in. He made some big plays at first then kind of petered out, but I would definitely consider it. Also Nahshon Wright is only playing special teams with the Jets. I wonder if he would be available for cheap and if the Bears could fit him in the cap.
