Bielema is getting the most out of this group. Defense is much improved and offense is clicking both run and pass. The fake FG was the play of the night.

He absolutely owns Nebraska and Minnesota. We always wanted to be at an Iowa like level and we for sure are now. Even in a down year still bowl eligible

If you would have told me on the evening of October 3rd that Illinois would be bowl eligible on November 6th, I would have openly laughed.

Hell of a job to turn this season around. Everything else from here out is gravy.

Say what you want about his flaws, but when the going gets tough, Coach Bielema never buckles to the pressure. Heck, I'd even say he THRIVES under pressure.

Shoutout to the defense as well, yet again. After a horrendous first half of the season, they've been absolutely lockdown during these past three games.

Not always pretty. But I don’t care. You saw how much difference the head coach makes tonight. Nebraska was giving me Zooker flashbacks a few times. So many dumb penalties and why oh why did they go for that 2 pt conversion. Meanwhile Bret just keeps footballing along. Not flashy just solid and sprinkle some big plays by Dixon. Sound smart football beats dumb football 10 times out of 10.

What a crazy season! Achieving bowl eligibility tonight after falling to 2-3 in a woeful performance against Purdue is remarkable.

Props to the players and coaches for not giving up! May have caught some luck with timing of opponents last 4 weeks, but you play the teams on the schedule.

This is, without a doubt, the best coaching season Coach B has had here, considering everything that has transpired this year.

We just showed on national tv that Illinois has a winning culture and Nebraska doesn't.

Tonight will make watching games tomorrow so much more enjoyable.

What's crazy is, even though it'll be VERY tough to do, we still have a chance at another 10-win season when all is said and done by the end of the season. Who would've thought THAT after Purdue?? Not I, that's for sure. Love the turnaround we've done!!
