so happy for BB after his loss of his father .........can't make up for it but maybe soften the feelings .........

we scored the most points and gained the most yards that nebby had allowed this season ..........

I assume Nebraska will fire Matt Ruhl after this season? But they’re going to owe him $50 to $55 million.

When they fired Pelini they had to pay him $7M. When Mike Riley was fired he was paid $6.5M. When they fired Frost they had to pay him $15M.

So that is almost $85M to fire the last 4 coaches.

I was reading one of their forums and they feel that if they lose to Rutgers, they will have no choice but to make changes. They really questioned the 2 point try. The fan base have the pitch forks out. They believe they will not get to a bowl even when they are at 5 wins now.

I am so proud of these guys. Amazing turn around of what was looking to be a disappointing season. Keep it Rollin men. Whoop some a$$ and take some names from here on out. Congrats on a great W tonight

That was a great win! Midway through the 2nd quarter, I said to the people I was watching the game with, that this had a similar feeling to the Oregon game. The way we were getting completely out played, couldn't get the offense going, but were only behind by 7-10 points. Thankfully the offense started clicking and the defense continued to play fairly well.
The fake field goal and the subsequent run by Lars Rau was easily the play of the season. It was a total momentum swing and helped us get the upper hand.
I feel terrible for Javari Barnett and I hope and pray he has a successful rehab and we see him back in orange and blue next season.
I am hoping Renfro isn't hurt too bad, as we are far better with him snapping the ball.
This has been a master coaching class by Bret and the entire staff. To overcome the injuries and all the adversity of this season and to be bowl eligible is really impressive. Remember it wasn't very long ago that people were talking about the potential of a 2-10 season.

Let's go!!!

This is the most points Nebraska has given up this season. Also, look at our defense since the bye. Gave up 10 to Oregon, 17 to Maryland, and 13 to Nebraska. We don't have anything to brag about defensively, but at least we are competing! That's all we need...just give our offense a chance to win it.

Side note: The way Rhule cries to the officials after almost every play is very annoying.

I might be in the minority here, but nebraska looks like they have more talent then I remember recently. I think at the moment they are on their heals a bit but I think they should ride it out. If you arent going to hit a homerun with a hire then consistency with resources and some minimal competence will do. I think 3 years from now they would be in a better spot if they ride it out than cut him loose.

And they fired this guy. Bet they’d take these results back in a heartbeat.
