Also, Follett's has men and women t-shirts, as well as orange hats. Overpriced, but what do you expect with such a grip on the logo and the scarcity of merchandise.

Been on kind of a browse for this tonight and just found another. Gameday Spirit has three hats with the official logo.

Searching ebay is another good option... thats how I originally got all my chief stuff when I came to the university- 2010.

Back in the 80's there were Chief decanters made by Old Commonwealth that looked pretty cool. The only problem with them is they said "Chief Illini" rather than "Chief Illiniwek". There are a few on ebay but they are listed for some major $$$.

I've had chief beer steins for about 30 years. Whenever one of my old Illini friends comes up to see me the beer is poured into a chief stein. good memories.

Part of the deal when was retired was that the NCAA would keep the rights to the logo and would be able to sell merchandise, but only online. It is a money-grab.

If I remember correctly, existing stock of Chief merchandise could continue to be sold, but no new manufacturing could occur. I picked up a pair of Chief pint glasses from the TIS website over the summer, but they're not available any longer.

Seems like there is a decent amount of new Chief merchandise out there so I don't think it is an issue of selling off existing stock. I always just assumed that Illinois held the right to the logo and could license it but couldn't use it for its own merchandise, etc. Whole thing is ridiculous.
