Think other fan bases have gotten this excited over a uniform makeover?

I'm loving it

There are times when I just get a smile from reading IL. This is one of them.

Not sure if it was all the hype, but honestly, I'm a little underwhelmed...

I think I'd like the logo better if it had the overhangs chopped off at the top.

I see some people buzzing about the silver uni's, but I'm not a big fan at all. Seems like we're just trying to stretch and jump on the "black look" bandwagon...

As far as the font goes, all the number 1's just don't do it for me. Seems like we are just trying way to hard.

Things I do like: white and orange uni's, very nice.

There is a fog machine running and the ceiling is purple. This is serious business. #Illini

Sorry but Syracuse's are awful. Much prefer ours.

Weird question - it seems like last year the basketball team was pretty free to pick the shoes they wore. Will that change now so they're all the same?

the shield is called the "Victory Badge Logo" per Werner

Press release: Block I will serve as "main identifying device for athletes." The secondary logo is called the "victory badge logo."

RT @steve_bourbon

According to a press release there is custom alphabet for both "Illinois" AND "Fighting Illini" logotypes

Did you read the reasoning for the numbers looking like they do? "They are tall and skinny to represent the New York skyline" or something along those lines. They looked just plain silly.
