It will be interesting when the dust clears to see what we end up with versus others in our conference. UCLA, USC, Michigan, and Indiana have had a pretty darn good success rate in the portal. Plus, Rutgers has a great recruiting class coming in. I can't wait to see how we end up.

At one point, I was hoping we might have the possibility to get Oweh. He is a pretty good one.

I have one closer to home... Preston Pearson was a walk on basketball player at Illinois who then became a 2 year starter on the team. He was drafted by the Colts and played for the Steelers and probably best known as a wide receiver and running back with the Cowboys. He played in 5 Super Bowls.

CU and downstate Illinois are certainly much cheaper places to live. Your dollar goes a long way.

He doesn't seem to miss much on the players he wants!

Jaden Bradley was taking a lot of Boswell's minutes from about mid-season on. There was a lot of speculation that Bradley could be starting over Boswell next year.

Loved his defensive intensity even though we didn't get to see it last year. In the video that was posted a few days ago, it looked like his ball control and offense had greatly improved. Wish he had stayed, but I can understand why. Does he end up at WVU?

That is disappointing to me.

I still do not know/understand why one of the best defensive players in U of I history (CF), was not responsible for the defensive game plan. That's my understanding from those that post on this Board.

It almost always seems that when negotiations for athletes gets strung out for too much time, we end up losing.

Insider comments have really slowed down the past few hours. Does this mean a signing announcement is forthcoming? Or, it could just mean they are at a meeting or dinner. Or, they are tired of our constant questions?
