We had some great teams in the mid1980’s! For a number of years I thought we would make it to and win the championship.

I believe Sporting News had us ranked #1 preseason in 2001 2002… per Google, but not AP.

I never like it when we are competing with a "Blue Blood" and there is a lot of time before the announced commitment date.

AZ has wide bodied forwards but both are 6’8” and can’t jump… not athletic. Their only chance is if Yaxel can’t go on the 2nd half

AZ guards (Bradley, Burries, and DelOrso) getting out played so far with only 3 points. Michigan front line is much stronger and talented than U of A.
