Game Thread: Illinois vs Duke

[Juju]

WTF ARE THESE PLAY CALLS???

[Mr. Tibbs]

thats all she wrote

[Second place is 1st loser]

Lunney ended up being the horses a$$ in this one. Those last three drives were below HS level from a x's and o's perspective.

[Illinois_2_AZ]

We really need the D to score.

[jimbo72]

Hey, Coach Lunney and his 1 series of insane calls showed up. Woof. Smh!

[New Creation]

Can’t expect our offense to be perfect. We might not win 6 games this year with this defense. Embarrassing

[IlliniMilkMan]

What. The. Fu

This program is so frustrating to follow.

That was the most pathetic set of play calls I've seen in awhile. Your third string guard is in, so let's run the ball and then throw the same slant we've been doing all day. Just horrible

[TheodoreRex]

Lunney calling an outstanding game then when it really matters just completely turtles. This is a bad loss

[Mr. Roberts]

[Lakes333]

Every play should have been a pass. We do not have Heisman running backs.

[BrimfieldBomber]

Hauck: Wanna see how ****y I can call our game plan in the 2nd half?

Barry: Hold my beer.

[eas23]

3rd down call was bad obviously, but that's another poor decision forcing it to Dixon on 4th down.

[azillini1]

I am just thankful there is basketball to look forward to where we can be relevant!

[Pikeillinifan]

I guess Manny Diaz >>> Barry L jr

[From the cheap seats]

Worst play-calling. Ever. Take the ball out of the hands of your best player. We played like we had the lead.

[orange100]

At least I have the Braves game to still look forward to.

[thehass]

A handoff 4 yard behind the LOS on 3rd and 3 and then a pass short of the sticks on 4th. Brilliant.

strategic

[Retro62]

10/2/26

[mhuml32]

Duke has successfully sped up Houser the past couple possessions and the offense was de-railed.

[TheFlyingIllini1317]

Once again 2nd 3rd and 4th awful call

[Iamgroot]

Play of the game here stop them boys

[LurkerintheOpen]

Bowl streak prob coming to an end.

[CDRUSN]

Since we blew thru 2/3 of our time outs, a first down by Duke here and this one is over.

[Fly Illini Fly!]

Not getting points and stalling out on 4th down, kind of hurt the offense’s psyche.

[Mr. Tibbs]

Barry’s play calling getting tight and tentative

two different halfs
