I would be very Happy with Rivers and Taylor and a 5th year grad transfer. Seems like the ideal situation. Groom Rivers and Taylor(Redshirt him) under Smiths new offense, 5th year as a stop gap this year with Thomas as a backup. The following year Thomas will be a Jr, Rivers So, Taylor RS Fr.

Stanford QB. Keller Chryst is choosing to go graduate transfer route. I wouldn’t mind it. Tall, Can throw it, and is athletic. He’s not a true “duel threat” but he is mobile.

I believe they can sign 25 and “oversign by 3”. I think that’s how it goes. I remember an article a few years ago talking about SEC teams who do the 25 and then oversign by 3 (if they have available scholarships). Which we do. Maybe that’s an SEC thing and not a Bigten rule.

What’s the update about Tolson getting early enrolled or not. I feel so bad for this kid. All along was expected to enroll early, did graduate HS early to do so.....now he’s in limbo.

Sounds good to me. The amount of pressure on Patterson to get those kids to ILL HAS TO BE HUGE! What happens if we get no impact from his hire in recruiting?- would be a terrible look. Here’s to hoping for all of them in O&B.

I couldn’t imagine being In Tolsons situation. Graduated from high school early to get to college sooner........ Now waiting in limbo this late in the process to hear if he can enroll early.....wow. Terrible look. Hope the school gets him taken care of very soon.

You are silly. I’m done responding to this topic after this post. We don’t have a QB coach or OC right now. If you don’t think any offensive player we are recruiting isn’t affected by us not having an OC you are dead wrong. Players want to know what system and type of coach they will be...

Watching Verdis very small senior highlights at IMG at OC and seeing this even smaller clip at this practice.....I have a very hard time believing Verdis moves well enough to play DL. At best- He looks like an interior OL guy. not trying to knock the kid, but he doesn't look like a DL to me...
