Not good with moral 'victory'. It was a beatdown, yards notwithstanding.

If Trimble could hang on to the ball her might have had good chance for 3 touchdowns. Dixon was practically invisible, while Smith had 4 TDs. Are OSU DB's that much better than UI's? That's where the key game difference was.

You have to play the best to be the best. Beating up on creampuffs will not make you ready to beat the top 15 teams in women's basketball.

Illini came back to beat Marquette in down to the wire 5 setter. Let's just say neither team is among the nation's best, more middle of the road. Seems Tamas and especially Whitman are content for volleyball to be average. Even with poor facilities Illini coaches used to attract elite talent...

Ashlyn Philpot played yesterday against Marquette with 13 kills on 26 attacks and she was in on 9 blocks as well. Great game for her.

Lety played over 20 min in one game and had 10pts 11reb. But mostly she gets around 10 min/game. Don't think Alves is on the team. https://www.cbb.com.br/selecao/feminino

Vaaks has the ability to be 1st team Big Ten as does Mirkovic. Tomislav and Zvonimir Ivisic, Anre Stojakovic and Quentin Coleman also could end up on one of the 3 all Big Ten teams. QC could be Freshman of the Year. Illini are stacked offensively and multiple players could be among scoring...

I would renew Big+ just to watch women basketball. Don't think I could handle seeing mediocre volleyball from our formerly proud national power Illini.

Don't know how I got Destiny's last name wrong, but thanks.

Nice job by Guyton. Illini are deep and have so much offensive firepower in Wallace, Parchment, Williams, Guyton, Webber, Bourrage, Dolan, Vasconcelos, Alves and Brown-Haggar. Plus Catoira and Brenjo can and will contribute spot minutes. May be best Illini women's team in over 20 years.

Tamas is definitely overpaid for being a lower tier coach. Obviously Illinois admin no longer cares about volleyball. Even with archaic facilities Illini used to have better coaching, recruited elite players and were one of the premier teams in country for years. Sticking with Tamas and just...

I love Vaaks' game. Distributes, handles, creates his own shots off the bounce, assists and makes his teammates better. Vaaks and Coleman will help take an already potent and deep Illini team up to higher championship level.

Plummer hit .408 on 98 of 240 3pt shots in '21-22, but had 35 assists to 43 TO's and went undrafted Wagler hit .397 on 87 of 219 3pt shots '25-26 but also had 157 assists to 66 TO's (and was a deservedly #5 lottery pick) Vaaks could possibly outshoot them both and also get lots of assists and be...

Watching a lot of Vaaks footage, I believe he will be a very able Wagler replacement. Coleman should provide better offense than Boswell, and hopefully can provide decent defense to boot. Z, Davis and Morillo I expect to be first guys off the bench. In early part of season, Zens, Brown and...

With Maddy Weber ready to be offensive sparkplug to sub out Dolan and/or Bourrage and a very capable 6.0' Ona Riopedre up next. Destiny will also become a bigger scoring threat in her soph season and also expect backup Guyton to improve and mature and Brown-Haggar provide veteran presence. The...
