Just in time for the club to be raided for tax fraud! Being an Illini fan AND a Newcastle fan, the cup just never comes off.

I grew up with Lee Hall on my TV. Hall is excellent by every measure, but I've been wowed by just how much Mattson breathes high school and college sports.

I'd assume that the Hall gets a cut of the purse from every home game. Any other revenue they generate would likely keep that cut lower for the athletic department.

Green Day had a show at Assembly Hall not too long ago, and I think Garth Brooks is playing there in the near future. Seems like they try to book at least one event a month. I'd have no idea how much money those shows bring in, though.
