Huh? My 2nd most watched team was Tennessee this year. He had some bad games but he had an 11 game stretch during SEC play where he averaged 22.8 ppg. He started slow and got hurt in the season finale.
Side note: The guy you replied to said Nate Ament was going to be drafted ahead of Wagler.
Duke played at the Breslin Center this year. They played at Arizona the year before.
It's essentially their new normal to play 1 true non-conference road game.
A friend of mine who is a huge Tennessee fan said he's heard they have $8-$10M left to spend.
Take that with a grain of salt, but they have money set aside for Ament possibly returning and they wanted Tanner from Vandy. Presumably, $$$ won't be an issue for Juke.
LoL. Alright, whatever. They're bringing back 87% of their minutes on a 1-seed that had an off night against Iowa.
I'm not going to bother arguing with you. You're dug in and never admit you could possibly be wrong.
I'll take Evan Miya saying they likely have the best roster in the country...
Did they?
Most national media that I follow and consume agree we were a sleeping giant and a top program.
Maybe it was newer media who started covering college basketball during the Weber years?
I'm starting to think a small part of the reason Malone got the call is because of our success this year and success of euros in college in general, of course.
Well, he never said it didn't apply to Houston or Florida. ;)
That said, it's an absurd take. A conference tournament title and an Elite 8 is never a bad season for Purdue. That was their 5th Elite 8 or better in 45 years and they hadn't been to a Final Four since 1980 until Zach Edey came...
