Not much of a surprise. The only thing stopping them was the buyout and they found the $$$ somewhere.

UCLA at Minny will be interesting. UCLA has a win at home over a decent but hardly great Wisconsin team and one on the road at Oregon by 2 points after 6 or 7 Oregon turnovers. The rest of their schedule is not impressive at all. Could be a real test for them as Minny is pretty respectable.

We will have to play better than Maryland to win. Nebby hasn't beaten anybody really good but they have come close. Clean game is needed.

The owners want a cap. The players are adamantly against it. I think the only way the players would agree is if there would be a pretty generous salary floor that forced some teams to spend more. IIRC 75% of the owner have to agree on a new labor agreement and I can't see Miami/Tampa/Pittsburg...

Locksley and Zook together could sell snow cones at the south pole. What neither can do assemble a fundamentally sound football team and then coach it on game day.

I was wrong. As in way wrong. But I'm overjoyed to be wrong. Fantastic 60 minute effort by the players and coaches.

Locksley is a good offensive coordinator and an excellent recruiter. Not really HC material.

Realistically Oregon has at least a half dozen guys on offense faster than anyone we can put out there on D. We will be playing with zero margin for error. I don't like our chances.
